摘要: 展览“Abstraction(s)|隐形于色——抽象艺术群展”汇集了不同年代的13位艺术家精选作品,勾勒出近一个世纪以来抽象绘画的演变,以及其所催生的各类实践。其中一些艺术家从抽象的传承中延续出创作线索,并融合了概念艺术、波普艺术甚至中国书法,而另一些艺术家则持更加激进、更加抒情甚至更加禅意的态度,抑或使用光线进行创作。这些艺术家共处一室,展现了当下抽象艺术的多样性:他们的作品之间在形式上存在诸多关联,而对色彩的探索则是这次展览中连结它们的主线,正如中文标题“隐形于色”所揭示的那样。
Abstract: Exhibition “Abstraction (s) ” has brought together the selected works of 13 artists of different generations, depicting the evolution of abstract painting for about a century, and various practice boosted by it. Some of the artists have extended their creation by inheriting from abstraction, and integrated conceptual art, Pop art and Chinese calligraphy; while others hold more radical, lyrical and zen-like attitudes, or apply light to create. These artists gather in the museum, demonstrating the diversity of abstract art: their
artworks are connected in the aspect of form, while the exploration of colour is the line that connects them, just as the tittle “Abstraction (s) ” reveals.
