The Promotion Logic of Nationwide Reading: The Innovations of Reading Scenes from the Perspective of City-Interface
摘要: 城市既是落实全民阅读战略的重要主体,又充当了阅读的文本以及阅读行为发生的时空背景。文章从城市作为交互界面的视角出发,基于多地推进全民阅读的经验实例,探索当前阅读场景的创新,归纳阅读赋能城市发展的途径。研究发现,全民阅读活动构成了不同城市打造崭新品牌形象的契机,推动了城市既有景观向阅读空间转型,并通过设立“15分钟阅读圈”、推广公益阅读项目、联结社会趣缘群体,提升了城市的包容程度。同时,城市的沟通性调适了物质与精神、历史与当下、个体与社群之间的关系,对于深化全民阅读工作至关重要。
Abstract: The city serves as the perform unit of nationwide reading strategy, the reading text for urban residents, and
the spatiotemporal backdrop for reading activities. Based on the empirical cases of prompting nationwide reading from several Chinese cities, this article regards the city as an interactive interface, and explores the current innovations of reading scenes, and concludes how readings empowers urban development. It fi nds that Nationwide Reading constitutes an opportunity for diff erent cities to create new brand images, it drives the transformations of existing urban landscapes into reading spaces both online and offl ine, it improves the urban inclusion through the promotion of "15-minute reading circle", community reading programs, and interest groups of reading. The results underscore the importance of urban communicability in prompting nationwide reading, when it can balance material and spirit, encompass history and present, as well as harmonize individuals and communities.
