五四运动在江苏

摘要: 1919年，从北京首先爆发的五四运动迅速席卷到江苏，江苏各界人士立刻响应积极 声援，通过举办国民大会和游行演说、筹建各界联合会等爱国团体、全面开展抵制日货提倡国货运 动尤其是罢课、罢工、罢市斗争等实际行动，参与到五四浪潮中，掀起了反帝反封建的巨浪。这一 时期，新文化思潮在江苏各地广泛传播，一些地方开始兴办教育事业，成立进步团体，发行文化刊 物，使广大民众从封建思想的束缚中解放出来。一批具有共产主义思想的知识分子在五四运动的 革命实践中迅速成长，他们深入到工人群体中，推动马克思主义的广泛传播和工人运动的发展，为 江苏地区早期中共组织的创建奠定了坚实的基础。

Abstract: In 1919, the May Fourth Movement quickly spread from Beijing to Jiangsu. People in Jiangsu responded immediately by organizing national congresses, parades, and speeches, as well as launching a comprehensive movement to boycott Japanese goods, especially promote domestic products. During this period, the new cultural trend spread widely in various parts of Jiangsu, and some places began to establish educational institutions and progressive groups, publish cultural periodicals, and free the general public from the shackles of feudalism. A group of intellectuals with communist ideas grew rapidly in the revolutionary practice of the May Fourth Movement and went deep into the working class to promote the widespread dissemination of Marxism and the development of the workers’ movement, laying a solid foundation for the early establishment of CPC organizations in Jiangsu.
