Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Directions of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Library Information Literacy Education
摘要: 研究阐释了生成式人工智能(GAI)技术在信息素养教育中的重要地位,运用范围综述方法,在SSCI、A&HCI和CSSCI数据库筛选出51篇文献作为证据来源,根据范围综述报告规范(PRISMA-ScR)框架为证据分析出生成式人工智能在信息素养教育情境中的潜在应用场景,即提供个性化学习体验、提升数字化教学效果,并基于数据准确性、偏见问题、学术不端风险、虚假信息传播以及过度依赖生成式AI可能削弱独立和批判性思维能力挑战等关键挑战,提出生成式AI在信息素养教育情境中的应对策略,为图书馆信息素养教育的数字化转型与创新发展指明方向。
Abstract: This paper explains the importance of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technology in information literacy education, applies the scoping review methodology, and screens 51 research papers from the SSCI, A&HCI and CSSCI databases as sources of evidence. This paper also analyzes potential application scenarios of generative AI in information literacy education contexts based on the framework of the Specification for Reporting of Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) as evidence, for instance, providing personalized learning experiences and enhancing digital teaching effectiveness. It also proposes strategies for generative AI in information literacy education contexts based on key challenges such as data accuracy, bias issues, risk of academic misconduct, dissemination of false information, and challenges of over-reliance on AI that may undermine independent and critical thinking skills, as so to point out the direction of digital transformation and innovative development of information literacy education in libraries.
