169首苏轼编年尺牍乱序的成因、后果及应对

摘要: 苏轼尺牍仅《重编东坡先生外集》所收810首逐一编年，其余诸本篇目多同此本，但其前169首却顺序颠倒。它们中的154首由随机抽取自《外集》的169首尺牍分合而成，伴有文字增删等现象；7首拆分自《外集》单列的书体类；还有7首和2个片段来自他处。现存诸本中，这一现象始见于明仁宗的洪熙本，是其底本《大全集》的编者为掩盖其出处等目的而有意为之。目前可知金元以来至少有两种苏轼尺牍选本受此影响，但更严重的后果出现在该《大全集》成为洪熙本的底本之后，因为洪熙本是此后几乎所有全集性质苏集的主要来源。其中分集本的《续集》都是被乱序的版本；合编本的尺牍也因之而有遗漏、错讹等问题。而《外集》除尺牍外还有其他优势，因此，以《外集》加《和陶诗》代替现行分集本中的《续集》构成新的《东坡七集》，实为更好选择。

Abstract: Su Shi’s Correspondences are only chronologically arranged in the 810 pieces collected in the Revised Collection of Mr. Dongpo’s External Works. The rest of the pieces in various editions are mostly the same as this edition, but the first 169 pieces are in reverse order. Among them, 154 pieces are randomly extracted from the 169 correspondences in the External Works and combined, accompanied by phenomena such as text deletion and addition; 7 pieces are split from the book-style category that is listed separately in the External Works; and there are 7 pieces and 2 fragments from elsewhere. Among the existing editions, this phenomenon first appeared in the Hongxi edition of Emperor Renzong of the Ming Dynasty, which was deliberately done by the editors of its base edition The Complete Collection for the purpose of concealing its source and other purposes. It is currently known that at least two types of Su Shi’s Correspondence selections have been affected by this since the Jin and Yuan dynasties, but the more serious consequence occurred after the Complete Collection became the base edition of the Hongxi edition, because the Hongxi edition was the main source of almost all the complete collections of Su’s works thereafter. The Continued Collection in the separate editions are all versions that are out of order; the correspondences in the combined editions also have omissions, errors and other problems due to this. And the External Works has other advantages besides the correspondences. Therefore, it is a better choice to replace the Continued Collection in the current separate editions with the External Works and the Poems of learning Tao yuanming to form a new Seven Collections of Dongpo.
