Research on Open Science Services of PLOS and Its Enlightenment to China
摘要: 调研PLOS网络平台开放科学解决方案,为我国积极参与开放科学,直面挑战,提供有益参考和借鉴。通过文本分析法和网络调研法,对PLOS在开放科学服务的路径与运作模式的发掘,讨论PLOS开放科学服务的特点和发展模式。PLOS网络平台提供的开放科学服务,包括期刊开放获取运行实践、期刊与预印本的无缝对接、开放数据与开放方法、开放同行评议记录、开放科学工具的运用,满足用户对开放科学多样化的信息需求。建议我国认清发展趋势、制定符合国情和科技发展水平的开放科学政策、实现路径、机制和工作模式,学术出版模式的创新,推动新兴技术、工具在开放科学的应用,提高出版平台对发布成果的及时评价反馈和宣传推广,我国学术图书馆全面融入开放科学全过程,全方位提升服务能力。
Abstract: This paper summarizes the path and operation mode of PLOS network platform open science services, and provides useful reference and reference for China to face challenges and actively participate in open science. Through literature research and network research, the service content and service functions of PLOS in open science services are explored, and the characteristics and development models of PLOS open science services are discussed. The open science services provided by the PLOS network platform include the exploration of open access operation of journals, the seamless connection between journals and preprints, open data and open methods, open peer review records, and the use of open science tools to meet the diversified information needs of users for open science. It is recommended that China recognize the development trend, formulate open science policies, implementation paths, mechanisms and working models that conform to national conditions and the level of scientific and technological development, innovate academic publishing models, promote the application of emerging technologies and tools in open science, Improve the timely evaluation, feedback and publicity and promotion of publishing platforms, fully integrate China’s academic libraries into the whole process of open science, and improve service capabilities in an all-round way.
