智媒时代背景下编辑的三个基本认知观

Three Basic Cognitive Perspectives of Editors in the Context of the Intelligent Media Era

摘要: 科技驱动下的数字化智媒时代是一个不同以往的新的时代,在这样的时代背景下,编辑须重新思考自身的行业属性和角色定位,确立起以下三个基本的认知观:一是群体智能认知观,即编辑必须将个体智能充分地置于群体智能之中,借助于群体智能厚重学识、纠偏归正、推出精品。二是中介本质认知观,即认知到编辑的本质是一种中介性的、间接的、高阶的认知,是对认知的认知和改变认知的认知。三是人本文化认知观,即编辑要全面而自觉地抵制异化、以人为本、以文化人,以高度的人文情怀和文化自觉,切实担负起启蒙解放人、推动人的自由全面发展的文化使命。三个认知观相互关联、层层深入,共同帮助编辑极大张扬人的认知灵性,有力应对以生成式AI为代表的智媒时代大潮对人的裹胁和挑战。

Abstract: The digital age of intelligent media, driven by technology, represents a new era unlike any before. In this context, editors must reconsider their professional attributes and role positioning, and establish the following three basic cognitive perspectives: First is the collective intelligence cognitive perspective, which means that editors should fully integrate individual intelligence into the collective intelligence, leveraging the profound knowledge of the group to correct errors and create quality works. Second is the intermediary nature cognitive perspective, which requires editors to recognize that their work is essentially a kind of intermediary, indirect, and higher-order cognition, that is, cognition of the cognitive process and cognition that changes the cognitive process. Third is the humanistic cultural cognitive perspective, where editors should consciously resist alienation, adhere to a people-oriented approach, influence people through culture, and with a deep sense of humanism and cultural self-awareness, take on the cultural mission of enlightening people and promoting the free and comprehensive development of individuals. These three cognitive perspectives are interconnected and deepen progressively, collectively helping editors to maximize the display of human cognitive creativity and effectively face the challenges and impacts brought by the tide of the intelligent media era, represented by generative artificial intelligence.
