This has an important relationship with Jefferson’s high attention to reading, he spent his whole life diligently collecting books, law, history, literature, philosophy and other subjects for a wide range of reading; He not only carefully taught the younger generation to read and study, but also vigorously advocated the construction of public libraries and promoted the popularization of knowledge.Jefferson’s emphasis on and advocacy of reading promoted the growth of learning, moral cultivation, spiritual enrichment and the progress of cultural education.
