An Example of the Application of Questionnaire Method in FLT Research
摘要: 网络问卷程序为教研人员提供了相较于纸质问卷更加便捷、经济的开发与实施问卷调查的手段。但文献计量结果表明,在中小学外语教学研究领域所呈现的问卷中,仍存在诸如题项表述多重维度、有预设,选项范围交叉或不连续等许多问题,削弱了结论的科学性。本研究依托“中学生英语阅读品格调查问卷”详细介绍了包含建立逻辑框架、设计问卷题项、试测与修改等环节的网络问卷编制流程,为教师开展严谨的外语教学研究提供帮助。
Abstract: Network questionnaire has provided teachers and researchers with a more convenient and economical means. However, there are still many mistakes in the questionnaires designed in FLT research, such as multi-dimensionality of the questions, pre-determination, and the overlap or discontinuity of the choices, which weakened the validity of the results. Therefore, this study relies on the “English Reading Character Questionnaire for Secondary School Students” to introduce the process of developing a questionnaire, so as to help teachers carry out more rigorous research on English teaching.
